Who is Hermes?
In Greek mythology, Hermes was often described as a young man with winged sandals, a flat hat, holding a staff in his hand with a snake wrapped around it (which charm people into sleep). He was considered to be the messenger of the gods, god of traveler, music, sports and thieves. As the messenger of the gods, Hermes took pleasure in helping with his father, Zeus.
Like many other Greek gods, Hermes had human weaknesses, on his first day of birth, Hermes became a thief and he was tricky and cunning. But Hermes was also very creative and invented musical instruments.
